Marie-Michèle Plante is the Executive Director of REGARD – Saguenay International Short Film Festival. With over fifteen years of experience in the arts and audiovisual sectors, she brings strong expertise in cultural management and production. After working with various cultural organizations in Montreal, she transitioned to advertising production for several years before relocating to the regions to co-direct the Musique du Bout du Monde Festival in Gaspé. Now based in Saguenay, Marie-Michèle brings her unifying vision and creative energy to REGARD, a festival recognized by the Oscars and FIPRESCI. Under her leadership, the festival continues its remarkable growth and solidifies its position among Canada’s major film events.
