Screenwriter, director, and artistic director, Nicolas Boualami works across film, fashion, and music, collaborating with artists such as Olivia Ruiz, Bigflo and Oli, Dua Lipa, Lady Gaga, Erik Truffaz, Johnny Hallyday, Vianney, Laura Smet, Keren Ann, Rihanna, Irène Jacob, Jane Birkin, Victor Solf, Sandrine Bonnaire, Miley Cyrus, Lara Fabian, Léna Situations, Loïc Prigent… as well as with brands like Barbara Bui, Roger Vivier, Hermès, L’Oréal Paris, and Delvaux. After two award-winning short films selected at festivals — including Le cinquième silence, screened at the Angoulême Film Festival in August 2024, at the CINEMANIA Festival in Montreal in November 2024, and at the closing night of the Saint-Jean-de-Luz Festival in 2024 — he directed the music videos J’veux tout savoir by Hélène Sio and Appelle-moi Johnny by Pascal Obispo, where he reunited with Laura Smet. He is currently working on his first feature film, scheduled for release at the end of 2026, between France and Canada.
