Biography

Passionate about Francophone cinema, Nicole began her journey at the Namur International Francophone Film Festival (FIFF) as an intern in 1992, before becoming its Executive Director in 2009. Since then, she has infused the festival with the energy needed to evolve while staying deeply rooted in the Francophone community. Under her leadership, FIFF has welcomed new talents while remaining true to its mission: raising audience awareness through FIFF Campus, bringing together Francophone professionals, and—above all—celebrating cinema with enthusiasm! The year 2025 marks a special milestone: FIFF’s 40th anniversary. Beyond Namur, Nicole is actively involved wherever Francophone cinema thrives: as a member of committees supporting film creation, as a founder of the André Delvaux Academy (organizer of the Magritte Awards), and as co-creator of the Francophone Film Trophies.
