Pierre-Emmanuel Lecerf is a senior French civil servant and a graduate of the École nationale d’administration (ENA, class of 2006–2008, “Aristide Briand” promotion). He began his career at the Inspectorate General of Finance, where he served from 2008 to 2012 as a financial inspector and later as a project officer to the head of the department. In 2012, he joined the Assistance Publique–Hôpitaux de Paris (AP-HP) as an advisor to the Director General, while also leading the “Hôpital Nord” project. In November 2013, he joined the National Centre for Cinema and the Moving Image (CNC) as Director of European and International Affairs, before becoming Director of Finance and Legal Affairs in 2014. From 2017 to 2018, he worked in the office of the Minister of Culture, Françoise Nyssen, first as an advisor in charge of cultural industries, media, and digital affairs, and later as Deputy Chief of Staff. Appointed General Administrator of the Musée d’Orsay and the Musée de l’Orangerie in 2021, Pierre-Emmanuel Lecerf has served since June 2024 as General Administrator of the Château, Museum, and National Estate of Versailles.
