Biography

Rose-Marie Perreault began her acting career at the age of 17, playing Stéphanie in Philippe Lesage’s The demons. Since then, she has been in high demand with filmmakers, leading to a steady stream of film projects. Her breakthrough came with the lead role in Pascal Plante’s Fake tattoos (nominated at the Canadian Screen Awards), which earned her a Revelation nomination at the Gala Québec Cinéma and a selection at the Berlinale. She has since appeared in numerous feature films, including Une révision (Catherine Therrien), Flashwood (Jean-Carl Boucher), La bolduc (François Bouvier), The fall of the american empire (Denys Arcand), Genesis (Philippe Lesage), Before we explode (Rémi St-Michel), Most wanted (Daniel Roby), A way of living (Micheline Lanctôt), Twilight for a killer (Raymond St-Jean), The shoemaker (François Bouvier), Living in the house (Renée Beaulieu), Time (François Delisle), Skin to skin (Chloé Cinq-Mars), and Lovely day (Philippe Falardeau).
