Biography

Zaven Najjar is a french animation director and illustrator. In 2013, He created the famous illustrations series, Rapposters, that became a clothing line developed with the brand Quatre Cent Quinze that were sold at Colette in Paris and for the Miami Art Basel or at Citadium in France and many places around the world. In 2015, he creates a the new illustrations series, Pharapops also developed as a capsule collection for the Citadium stores. Late 2015, he directed his first award winning animation short film, Shell all. Late 2016, Zaven designed and animated the opening titles for the film Demain tout commence (Two is a family) directed by Hugo Gélin, starring Omar Sy, Clémence Poésy, Gloria Colston and Antoine Bertrand. Zaven studied animation at the ENSAD in Paris and film at the SAIC in Chicago. Since then he has been working either in animation films and commerials and illustrations. He has worked for the Arabic World Institute or the Grand Palais, the Cinema Paradiso, Arte, Canal+, IWC Schaffhausen, Roger Dubuis or Baume & Mercier.
