OBJECTIVE
The CINEMANIA Francophone Film Festival is committed to creating a healthy, inclusive, and safe space for everyone. The festival strongly condemns any form of harassment, violence, discrimination, sexism, or threats, and actively works to prevent such behaviors.
PREVENTION
Two types of groups share the responsibility of maintaining a safe environment : the management team and Board of Directors, as well as all participants and stakeholders involved in the event.
This policy operates within the framework of applicable Quebec laws, notably the Act Respecting Labour Standards(provisions on psychological harassment), the Quebec Charter of Human Rights and Freedoms, and any other relevant legislation aimed at protecting the dignity and integrity of individuals.

To ensure a healthy, respectful, and inclusive environment, the CINEMANIA Festival implements several concrete measures :
REPORTING
Anyone who believes they are a victim or witness of harassment, discrimination, or violence is encouraged to come forward.
Reports can be made to the contact(s) person(s) designated by the festival. Each case will be treated with seriousness, attentiveness, and confidentiality, and will be followed up appropriately, respecting strict confidentiality at all times.
COMMITMENT
The CINEMANIA Festival reaffirms its commitment to providing a safe and respectful environment for everyone. No inappropriate behavior will be tolerated. The festival is committed to acting with rigor and responsibility to protect the integrity and well-being of all.
