Sylvie lives in Brest with her two children, Sofiane and Jean-Jacques, whom she raises as a single mother. Together, they form a joyful and tight-knit family in the face of adversity. One evening, while Sylvie works late, a serious accident occurs, and she loses custody of Sofiane. This marks the beginning of her struggle to regain custody of her son and prevent herself from falling apart. Selected in the Un Certain Regard program at Cannes, this heartbreaking drama illustrates the failure of an administrative system and raises questions about what it means to be a good mother. Virginie Efira once again delivers a naturally impressive performance.
