The OQLF and CINEMANIA

As part of its second edition, CINEMANIA Pro launched a significant collaboration with the Office québécois de la langue française (OQLF). On the opening day of the professional program, November 7, a comprehensive overview of the use of French in the film and audiovisual sector was presented. Two conferences explored key issues: the production of French-language works in Quebec, and the role of French in online, theatrical, and television distribution. These sessions brought together seven experts who shared their insights on the linguistic realities of the industry. The day also featured two workshops: one focused on the development of the 3D Lexicon project by the BCTQ, and another on the regulatory obligations for companies with fewer than 50 employees.
