Director Claude Lelouch celebrates life itself in his 46th film, casting a good part of his French film-industry “family”, all of whom obviously had loads of fun during the filming, (Johnny Hallyday, Jean Dujardin, Mathilde Seigner, Elsa Zylberstein, Christophe Lambert, etc., etc.!).
Lelouch juggles the destinies of dozens of characters who are first and foremost men and women whose very existence revolves around their intimate dreams and hopes, their secrets and their limitations.
Filmed in beautiful Beaune during what (in the film) is a jazz festival, the movie goes down as easily as a glass or two of the local wine followed by a summer afternoon nap...
