Pierre Hoffman, (Laurent Lafitte) joins the teaching staff at prestigious Collège de Saint Joseph. He senses immediately that something is terribly wrong with his class of adolescents – they’re unusually hostile and seem barely able to contain violent impulses. Is it because their former French professor committed suicide during class by jumping out the window? Is it because the students are an impenetrable group of intellectual overachievers? Or are they simply terrified by approaching environmental crises and have lost all hope in a promising future? Hoffman’s curiosity morphs into an obsession in cracking the secret of the group’s bizarre behaviour.
