Olivier (Romain Duris) is devastated when his wife Laura departs, abandoning her husband and children. And, “she ain’t coming back!” Olivier is faced with juggling a job and homelife alone with two kids. “He’s in over his head”, despite help from sister Betty (Laeticia Dosch) and mother Joëlle (Dominique Valadie).

Belgian director Guillaume Senez paints a portrait of a man struggling to balance his professional life with looking after his children and their education, and still squeezing-in a bit of a love life. Senez takes a tenderly humanistic view of a decent man faced with new responsibilities, turning the ordinary into a tense and realistic drama.
