Belgian director and co-screenwriter Bavo Defurne’s comedy-drama tells the comeback story of former Eurovision star Liliane (Isabelle Huppert), now relegated to working in a pâté factory. Stardom is a distant memory for Liliane, who placed 2nd to ABBA at Eurovision in the 1970s. Once celebrated and famous, she is now forgotten — until she falls for a much younger man, an aspiring boxer. It turns out he also fancies her, and he soon convinces her to re-start her singing career.
Kévin Azaïs (César-winning actor for LOVE AT FIRST FIGHT) plays the young boxer in this heart-warming and touching tale of a May-December romance.
