Mr. Pierre Roy is the former President of Chaînes Télé Astral. He has been a member of CINEMANIA's Board of Directors since September 2014, and has assumed the role of Chairman of the Board since June 10, 2015. From 1992 to 2013, Mr. Roy was responsible for VRAK-TV, Canal D, Canal Vie, Z Télé, Historia and Séries+. In 2008, he received the Personalité Arts-affaires award from the City of Montreal for his commitment as Chairman of the Board of Directors of INIS (Institut National de l'Image et du Son), and was also awarded the Grand Prix of the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television.
