Sophie Dufort has extensive management experience in the communications, media and cultural industries. After 10 years in various advertising and public relations agencies, Sophie made the leap to the media industry and joined the Astral/Bell team in 2000. At Astral/Bell, she held the positions of VP Communications and VP Digital Experience, among others, before joining the management team at Télé-Québec. As Director of Strategy and Multiplatform Development at Télé-Québec, she oversaw the Fabrique culturelle, educational projects and the digital experience for Québec's public television network. Sophie is a brand management and digital experience consultant. Sophie has sat on the boards of various media and cultural organizations, including Savoir Média, the Académie du cinéma et de la télévision and the FCTNM. She currently sits on the boards of La vitrine culturelle and the CINEMANIA francophone film festival.
